Primerio’s Egypt Practice head has over 20 years of experience in competition, trade remedies, consumer, corporate, and civil law, including contracts, litigation and arbitration. Recognized as one of the most experienced competition lawyers in Egypt and a highly involved lawyer in competition matters in the region.

Rostom is a lecturer of Competition & International Business Law.

In his senior government role at the Egyptian Competition Authority, Rostom established the Investigations & Legal Research department, gaining valuable experience as an antitrust enforcer on the continent. Notably, he is also a former Commissioner of COMESA, serving as a board member of the COMESA Competition Commission from 2011- 2015.

An Egyptian native, fluent in Arabic, English and French, with knowledge of Portuguese.
